In Sabah, Hokkien is one of the main Chinese dialects spoken, alongside Hakka, which is used by most of the state's Chinese community, and Cantonese. In Indonesia's Riau province, Chinese Indonesians speak a form of Hokkien, along with Minangkabau and Batak languages.
