What rare curling achievement was accomplished in Bathurst, New Brunswick in 1958 and later in 2019 by a team from Saskatchewan in the Canadian juniors?
At the 1958 New Brunswick Ladies Curling Championship, Mrs. G. R. Williamson's rink from Bathurst, New Brunswick scored a rare eight-ender in the tenth end of the final. Saskatchewan later scored the only eight-ender in Canadian juniors curling history at the 2019 Canadian Juniors, and went on to win the tournament.
