The Ottoman empire's administrative records from 1596 listed both Ein Qiniya and Aaramta as villages within its territories. Ein Qiniya was recorded in the Nahiya of Jabal Quds of the Liwa of Al-Quds, while Aaramta was listed in the nahiya of Sagif under the liwa of Safad.
