Zaklikow sits in the sulfur-rich region of southeastern Poland, and is known for producing sulfur, along with furniture and nuts and bolts. A nearby city called Tarnobrzeg had one of Europe's biggest sulfur mines. Sulphur Springs, Texas got its name in the mid-1800s from springs full of the yellow chemical sulfur.
