Southern California

United States

Southern California registers 4187 Bunkabop connections with 13238 other places across 29 topics, spanning sports, film, and music above all else. Sports connections are the largest cluster, from Olympic competitions to regional Little League tournaments. Film follows closely, and music rounds out the top three. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago share many of those ties. The 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge, staged at a former Air Force base in Victorville, illustrates the region's reach into science and technology.
